Message from

the Artistic Director:

VOCA NEEDS YOUR HELP!

As you may know, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has implemented significant funding cuts that affect many theatre organizations. Unfortunately, VOCA is among those organizations facing these cuts, which impact our current programs:

  • The ISM Project, a social impact curriculum for K-12 and college students, as well as the community.

  • The upcoming co-production of A Strange Loop with Deaf Austin Theatre - VOCA’s first musical ever.

These programs are vital for promoting community engagement.

We need your help to save them. A donation of just $5 can make a significant difference in uplifting the talents of our Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf+, hard-of-hearing BIPOC, and allies community.

Please share this message with your friends, family, and community to encourage donations to VOCA and help preserve our programs. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

The Theater and community live and coexist hand in hand. Without all of you, what is theater? With you, we elevate and expand.

With gratitude,
