A filmed preview of VOCA's A Raisin in the Sun, screened December 2020.

The story portrays an African-American family, the Youngers, who strive for an American Dream while living in Chicago. The family receives an insurance check after the death of the father, Big Walter, and must make an important decision about what to do with it.

The screening was family-friendly and was presented in American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English, with closed captioning.

A Raisin in the Sun was presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., a Concord Theatricals company.
