2021–2022

ISM, conceived and directed by Michelle Banks.

Ran December 2 to 12, 2021 at Theater Lab II, Atlas Performing Arts Center.

Collective stories told by BIPOC Deaf and hard of hearing individuals about their life experiences dealing with labeling, the overused term with “ism” such as ableism, audism, racism and ageism. While addressing issues with oppression and social injustice in society, they share their deaf perspectives.

ISM was later performed on September 9 and 10 at Elstad Auditorium, in a run sponsored by Gallaudet University's Division of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, with free tickets.
